Default Shorty headers...CA

Just looking for advise as to which shorties I should look intofor my '04 5.3, I live in So Cal so they need to be CARB approved, lookin' at Edelbrock and Gibson right now. Also, how can you tell if you have AIR and EGR or not...?

Thanks!

I would go with TOG headers. Be sure to get them coated though. They are much longer and better than the shorties. You will see much better gains. They are also CARB approved.

If you bought your truck in Cali, them more than likely it's got AIR.

As far as shorties go the new Edelbrok headers look pretty nice. I doubt there is much gain to be seen from shorties tho, Id save up for those TOG's it will be worth it.

Yes, go with TOG headers... killer build quality and more power than a shorty header...
