Good question dude. I was wondering if I had shorties with a cut out before the cats, would this be just as good as long tubes with a cut out?

From what I know (not much about headers) the long tubes will make you more HP. Now which you can put in yout truck without having to weld the collectors and lengthening your exhaust for them to work I dont know. I have many wants but no cash to support them.

Thanks for the link BigJ. I know longtubes make a lot more power than shorties when you run a full exhaust, but if you run a cut out right after the headers, then wouldn't the shorties make just as much power as the long tubes?
