Default Shortblock and heads are here

I just got the build sheet on my new shortblock,it's a 403 with Diamond dished pistons,Eagle crank,Scat 6.125" rods, steel main caps.ARP main and head studs and a Comp 228/234 .588/.598 115+4 cam.The heads are TEA 6.0 stage 1.5 with Comp 977 valvesprings, titanium retainers and Comp Pro Magnum 1.75 rocker arms.I'm also going to run Comp R lifters and push rods. With a .054 compressed head gasket it should have a 8.96:1 compression ratio.I'm planning to run it with my Radix setup and a Pro M maf.I guess I'll find out just how much power Radix setup can flow.

Man, you do know that with those rockers you'll lifts of .605 and .615. What kind of lifts do those 977 springs handle? I had my heads setup with 978 springs.

What gasket did you end up deciding on? Was the 9199 bore big enough?

Now you can get those 57lb injectors in and tell me what you had to do to get them on that Radix rail.

How long before it's running? And, is the Eagle crank keyed? The Callies crank I'm getting is, just curious.

The Comp 977s are set for .670 lift and I had the crank and stock pulley keyed.I hope to have everything togather and installed in the next 2 weeks.TEA seems to like the 977s better than the 978s.
