Im sure he already paid Wester's the $500 for tuning so he wants to get something out of it.
Good luck, the only tune I got for my $500 was for my nearly stock truck. After that, he was useless and unwilling to do much of anything.

I agree on the 6500, maybe even 6600. Have your rev limiters set no less than 300 ABOVE your shift points though.

greentahoe hit the nail right on the head, i would have got hptuners but #1 it wasn't out and #2 i got westers for only like 340 at the time. I know if i had to do it over again i wouldn't have done this. if i got hptuners now it would cost me 500 plus a laptop plus a loss of 340 for the other tuning i already paid for. Hey you live you learn, oh well. Okay so i guess i will set my shift points to 6500 and my limiter to 6800, how much TM should i leave in or remove?

Depends on how fast peak drops and @ what rpm it does peak. I didn't necessarily have a recommendation...just more curious on where 65 comes from

IMO the 6500 like already said is because of a pretty big cam with a good power band and you dont want to shift to much before your power band is up or you just wasted money on the cam and again with the 410's in there it will get there quick good luck man i thought my cam and 410's were good but i would love to drive that

i know i was orginally going to go with the tr220 on a 112 but i got this one for like half the price and its only going to be in there for like a year at the most so i'm going all out i guess. accoriding to my converter i should see like 4800 rpm's when i shift into second, thats nice!!! i can't wait!

Get out the G-Tec and check the accelaration at different shift points.Peak hp doesn't always give you your best shift points, sometimes holding a gear well past the peak hp can yeild a higher average hp due to the gaps in your truck's gearing. That is you can especially with a different cam have less high rpm falloff in power than you have falloff at below the cam's power curve and the best shift point from one gear to the next may be different. If your best 1-2 shift is 6500rpm you may want to make the 2-3 shift at a higher rpm due to the big gap in gearing going into 3rd.The G-Tech can give repeatable accelartion numbers to find what works best with your combo, just don't get arrested.
