Default can NOT find a regular cab short bed

what exactly is the length of a short bed? is it the 6.5 feet long or is there something shorter? all i can find is 6.5 feet long beds or extended cabs with short beds.

there are a few 6.5 regular beds around here but they are very very rare. almost all regular cabs are long beds.

yeah the 6 footer is the short bed and yes rcsb's are rare

there is a shorter bed for the crew cabs but you cant get it with the rc. just bite the bullet order exactly what you want and wait the 2 months to get it

the bed sizes are : 5'8" for the crew cab 1500 only, 6'6" for the regular short box trucks, and 8' for the long box. we have quite a few regular cab short box trucks just sitting around at work, seems like they'd be easy to find. where are you located?

RCSB's are (surprisingly) quite rare here in Massacusetts. So aren't 2wd's.

When I got mine there were a few RCSBs on the lot (used, non- Chevy dealer), but I see them quite often up here actualy. As for 2WDs, they def. are rare in New England, for good reason

Our dealers don't even bring 2wd trucks in. Only way to get one would be to order it.

I was lucky to find mine. I really wanted a different color, but I knew that would mean ordering one. Oddly enough, the salesman had the truck for a while because no one wanted to pay for the 5.3 option. They all wanted 4.8's.

we used to only have work truck regular cabs here at work, but i've pushed our sales manager into having better stuff. we usually have a few 5.3 2wd rcsb's with 3.73's and G80's and one or two of them will have add on's like corsa exhaust, carriage works grille, series 77 k and n, different wheels, etc. a good dealer will stock trucks like that and 4x4's with the same except 4.10's.
