Default shift kit

im getting ready to strap on a sts turbo but i know i have to get a posi and beef up my tranny, does anyone have any suggestions what i should do with my tranny, i plan to maybe run ten pounds of boost only at the track but just to run around town with 6 or so but for my tranny to hold up what all should i do, will a shift kit hold down for a 4l60e, i have a 5.3l in a 2002 single cab thanks for any help

10PSI? you getting bigger injectors? if not, you will need them if you want the motor to survive first of all. if you don't get too carried away, the "60" will do just fine for you, just do get it beefed up or it will let you down. first and foremost, find a GOOD builder. a good quality kit and replacement of the band and clutches will be your saving grace. and throw in a corvette servo while you are in there. that should take care of you for quite awhile.
