yea, today it wasn't loud at all. who knows. i am like you, as long as i have a cell phone and good towing, i'll ride this one out. it might last till tomorrow of longer.

My fuel pump is noisy as hell sometimes too and has been like that since I got the truck.

my fuelpump is the same. loud one day and not the other. no problems yet. my dad has a 98 z71 and his is always loud as heck. same with his, no problems
