rwhp vs primary size?

Default rwhp vs primary size?

wondering what you high hp guys think on this.

at what point do i think about going from 1 5/8" primary up to 1 7/8"?

i am a little over 400 rwhp n/a now.... a bit over 500 rwhp sprayed... just curious.

my buddy picked up 12hp and 9lb/ft torque going from 1 5/8 to 1 7/8 kooks on a ls1 f-body. cam only made 412hp 389lb/ft torque.

Without doing any formula's, off the top of my head I'd think that a 1 3/4" primary would suffice for your set-up.
