Default whipple question

just curious to as why no one runs a whipple here, whats the disadvantage? reason is because i was looking at the one that is being sold in the parts section and would like to pick it up, also it came off a 99 would it work on my 06?

quite a few members run the Whipple. Lack of customer service (at least on this site) is probably the biggest reason.

Whipple setups seem to be more of a "here you go, the rest is up to you" system. Not much in the way of customer service, but a good product if you know how to manage it on your own. Whipple makes some really nice stuff but its tough to get answers out of them when you need them.

All Whipple really sells are compressors. If you can do everything else (intake/intake manifold, fueling, programming, etc.) then Whipple is for you.

whipple customer service sucks, i had a partial kit and was willing to buy the rest of the kit straight from them but everytime i called them they told me they couldnt help me on the phone and to send them an email, 3 times they sent me a reply email with a parts list and nothing else so i sold what i had. i will never buy a whipple again, new or used cause i dont want to deal with their shitty customer service again.

i have never spoken with anyone from magnacharger but sts has great customer service, when i was looking into a used sts kit i called them after hours, someone answered, made sure all of my questions were answered before he got off the phone and he emailed me some very helpful info before he went home that night.

Yeah, sorry. I think it might be related to tourette syndrome.
