"WS6 store,
I wanted to reach out and let you all know how happy I have been with you product. I bought a set of your drop in heavy duty ls1 pistons a little over a year and a half ago. I used them to help build an ls1 with gen 4 rods and I have some info I thought you all would enjoy. I first want to say they look like a great product and when I asked you told me you had a car that makes 600hp with them and I went out on a limb and bought them to semi test my setup and let me tell you they work like a dream. My car is a 95 mustang with an true ls1 bock stock bore, your drop in pistons a set of used stock gen4 rods and stock ls1 crank. Tick performance cam, Texas speed push rods and retainers and a set of comp springs. The heads were shaved .035" making my compression right around the 11:1 area with these pistons. I have been running them in my car with twin 57mm turbos all year made 20+ passes at the track and just as many on the street with another 1500 street miles. The car has been 9.76 at 141 with these. The car weighs in at 3300lbs. This is all controlled with a holley terminator X ecu. I have never been on the dyno but that means this car is making in the 700-800 hp range. I have run as high as 21 psi thru the motor on the street and fully intend to use that on the track this coming year. I would also like to add the 9.76 pass was leaving off the foot brake on 6psi and 14psi down track. I tore the motor down for the winter to go thru it and the pistons look just like the day I put them in. I will send you some pics of them as well. I fully intend to see how far these pistons and stock rods will take me I thought you would enjoy the good results. Just a gen4 bottom end ls1 making passes and having fun. I am hoping to make some 8 second passes this coming year with a trans brake and same engine and turbo setup. I will let you all know how things hold up. For a super budget pistons you guys make no claim to hold huge numbers so far they have been fantastic."
