Default RPMSpeed Flat top upgrade kits for 5.3/6.0/6.2

In taking note of what is going on in the truck world, the most popular budget performance engine mod right now seems to be the flat top upgrade.
SO we decided to make a "bare bones" kit to upgrade the dished or double D vvt pistons on the 5.3/6.0/6.2 engines.
Of course, every part will be new, so the price will be more than a used set of 4.8 pistons per se...but the best part is, they are NEW AND available in oversizes in case of bore/hone etc.

All kits will include
will include
Pistons with pins (pressed style hyper-e flat top)
Reg fit rings with std tension oil
Head bolts (stock tty)
Mls Head gaskets (for any ls head including notched)
Mls Exhaust manifold gaskets
Valve cover gaskets (with grommets)
Oil pan gasket

Available upgrades include rear cover gasket kit
Tty crank bolt
Front cover gasket kit
Rod Bearings
Main bearings
Metal cathedral truck intake gasket set

All of those will of course add to the price

MORE UPGRADES INCLUDE
Arp head bolts/studs
Ls9 head gaskets

The Gen3 rods 5.3 flat top kit is $399.

Gen4 5.3 flat top kit will run $415
Includes all the same but floating pin pistons

Gen3 6.0 piston kit will be $399 (pressed pin)

Gen4 6.0 kit is $419 (floating pin with hard anodized top)

6.2 kits are $449 (floating pin)

We also have a 5.7l piston kit if youre looking to build a gen3/4 5.7l with 5.3 crank or 5.1l with 4.8 crank also.

All pistons available in stock bore size as well as .020/.030/.040 oversize and are so close in weight they are actual drop ins. ls1 bore pistons would require balancing unless 5.7 crank used.

They may be more $$$ than a $100 set of 4.8s off fb...but for brand new parts with all gaskets reslly necessary, the deal cannot be beat. add any extras of course also.

Lifters with this kit are $90 instead of $99 also and lifters and trays are $129 instead of $139.

Free shipping also!!

Are they OEM style Hyper eutectic pistons?

I know this is an odd ball question... but does anyone make a drop in forged piston that would not mess with the OEM balance?

They are actually a little stronger than the stock hyper-e piston but still hyper-e. Complete flat top no valve relief. All have a coated skirt too and the 6.0 have a hard anodized top and 1st ring land.

Most of the 4032 flat tops like mahle and icon will do that, but youre lookin at $670+ for pistons and rings so not a straight comparison here of course.

Adds compression. and if boring/switching to 3.898/3.908 ls1 bore it adds cubic inch and more compression.
Plus they are better designed pistons and rings so it seals better, has less noise, and less pcv issues.

So do folks lose VVT or are the pistons shorter? I have an older motor without VVT, my CR is 9.95:1 versus 9.6:1 for the VVT 5.3s.

VVT is a function of the cam.
