For future reference you may use a propane powered torch with LOW heat to release blue locktite. I really hate to use any locktite on the rocker train and would rather use plain old silicone or ARP thread sealer on the places where a leak would be possible and if there are problems with things coming loose then replacement of the affected parts are a better option. Locktite can be a pain in the ***, I use it only when I am not going to take anything back apart .... EVER.

torqueing to 23 ft/lbs
Me and a couple of buddies finished it up at 7:20 with flashlights in the dark. The guy who did the install came over and had some left haded bits and it drilled out really easy didnt have to use the stud extractor. Got everything back togethor and I really need to get a tune for this cam. It comes on strong past 5k the problem is I have alot of timing being pulled, it was so bad that at wot I couldnt get past 4500. Then I went and got some lucas octane booster and that helped alot, my days of buying the cheapest 93 are over with. I have a feeling this cam is going to be hard to tune in this motor we'll see though my tuner is the ****. People come in from all over the east coast to have him tune thier cars. This past week some of the larger companies on the west coast flew him out there to teach thier people.
If anybody in the south east needs his number pm me.

lingenfelter gt2-5

222/222 .566/.566

I really need a tune I have alot of timing being pulled.

Its a combination of the heads being milled, me being stupid and buying cheap 93 and this cam with out a tune. Im really considering trying to siphon the gas out before I go for my tune since I wont be able to get anywhere with ignition problems and KR.

Whats your compression? I am going for 10.8:1 with my new heads, might even go 11.1:1 if I get really crazy.

I believe its around 10.4:1 with .050 milled
I can already tell Im not going to be able to buy the cheap gas anymore regarrdless of what octane rating it has. Ive got something to learn about gas and what makes it "good".
