Default Ride Control? "FIRM"?

I was wondering if using the "FIRM" setting on my ride control would help in takeoffs? Not a lot of cushion in the suspension when it is on, so whenever I punch it, it will not bog down as much. Is that right?

You won't help take off with it, I have it on my truck and like it for shitty backroads. You bog on take offs due to your low stall torque converter, torque managment, and running rich.
