How does a cable cut out work?

Can it be opened and shut moving down the road or is it somethin i have to get under the truck for

yea that was a retarded question. I'm just messing with you. the cable is long enough to run within an arms reach when your driving.

is it a switch or do you pull it, how do you get it into the cab, drill a hole?

drill a hole and you'll have a lever you pull on to open the cutout. they're ghetto IMO, just get a QTP electronic cutout and call it done.

they're not junk by all means. I've installed them on a few different vehicles now and I'd say they're quite a quality piece of work. Their stainless cutouts are kickass, and the electronic valve is grade A
