Default cutout ?s

do they help ? do they help in the low end or mid to high ? do i have to retune if instal ? and where is best place to instal them ?

The best placement is after the 02's and before cats if you have them. I have mine right after the header collectors. Retune is not needed since it's after the O2's but I do see my AFR lean out by up to .2 when open.

it is suggested for cutouts to be installed about 1ft after the 02's..... I have a ORY pipe, and I only have one cutout and it is just before the muffler...

If it's just before the exhaust reaches the muffler, it sure does serve a purpose. It opens up the exhaust for better flow instead of backing it up in the muffler. It's been working for years. Why doesn't it work on yours?

i have a straight through muffler and it dumps right at the muffler...can't get much more open
