Default Resonators Installed

Posted awhile back about my plans to install some Magnaflow resonators in the tailpipes of my rear exit Corsa system. Got them in today. It sounds awesome. Took all the rasp and rude loudness out of it. Good throaty note at idle and still sounds off at WOT. Just not near as loud. Can actually hear the SC now. Little chirps of the tires under hard acceleration and the occasional 1-2 shift part throttle shift chirp.

I'll post up some pics and video tomorrow. Wish I had done it a long time ago.

Here is the after video. You can see the resonator behind the tip in the shot. This setup x2. One in the the other tailpipe. Magnflow part # 14416. Got them off E-bay for about $60 each.

Believe it or not the cruise resonance with this setup appears to be just a bit more than the Corsa alone. I'll take that vs. rude loud and rasp at WOT. I am really liking it.

The after shot was a cold start. You can notice a little hesitation in rev. Right off idle when cold it wants to hesitate.

Thanks Tim. I like the new sound. It's combo Corsa and Magnaflow now. We will meet up sometime. We are to close not to. I want a ride in yours also. Doubt they are that much different at about a 1/4 mile.

Sounds real good.Took a lot of rasp out and has a unique sound. With the resonators it seems to hesitate when you revved it,sounded cammyier with the new mufflers, did you change anything else when you added the resonators?

It was cold in the after video. I had just started it. It hesitates right off idle when cold and does lope a bit. The before video was warmed up.

I am about 30 minutes from Springfield. Just north of Harrodsburg, KY. Wide spot in the road called Salvisa.

Much better. Removed most of the rasp/buzz. I'll have to see if I can fit one of those is my exhaust.

Amazing what those little things do ain't it. I see them underneath as close to the exits as possible - that's right where they need to be. Nice.
