No your stock injectors will be fine if you do long tubes. If you decide to add a cam or nitrous, then you would need the bigger ones.. Even with the cam you might get by on the ones you have now... Keep what you got for now, you will be fine

Alright thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!

*side note, if I did upgrade them to what you said (42-44lber's) Would it be cause problems to upgrade them to that size, not having huge mods yet?

It would require a new tune, so the fuel trims, tables would have to be adjusted and all.. PIA, would help you out..

if your just going to run a cai, exhaust setup with a tune, dont worry about replacing your injectors, you dont need to. As long as your IDC's are say below 90%ish you should be fine. Which with a few bolt on's you should be fine with the stockers

Are you having a problem with your injectors that warrants their replacement? Or are you just checking to see if you should upgrade? As mentioned, with your mods, the stock injectors will be just fine, if you need to replace them because they are bad or clogged or something, get the OEM direct replacements (sorry that I don't know the part number but there's a part# sticky in the general section...)

Yeah the stock injectors need to be replaced, I have these symptoms which lead me to believe that they are my problem

Symptom: We don’t see them short out and very few of them show any sign of contamination at the discharge end. They just leak! If you watch the injectors after shut down you will see droplets form at the bottom and then they drip. This causes a hard starting and will give off a raw fuel smell.

So I was just looking for info to see if I could upgrade to something better than stock. I noticed that oem injectors on Gmpartsdirect are about $70 a piece and the 42lb marines are only $400 for a set...

Would it ruin anything to upgrade to these 42lber's?

Are you having a hard start condition and it seems like it's running rich? Check the fuel pressure regulator for a leak first, it's very common. Leaking injectors will have the same symptoms as a leaking fpr.
