Hang a k&n filter off the end of your stock snorkel as a test colby, not the same as a k&n but close. I did this and found the stock box to be better than a open air element. Look at it this way at least we do not have to remove our head light to run.

look at the new Whipple and Kenne Bell Intakes...they are very nice. Here is a pic of it on my truck. I think they sell them for N/A trucks as well.
