Default Replace A/C Belt?

I know this is a stupid question, but I must know it before I install the ASP pullies.... Should the A/C belt be replaced with another size belt or will the original work fine? Anyone know which are the belts that should be used for the crank and alt. pulley set?

I think the hardest part of my ASP install was getting the new AC belt on. Good luck!

When you do put the ASP's on check your A/C belt tensioner. Mine has very little tension and barely holds the belt tight.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So I have to buy the AC belt too... I still dont know someone that can install the pulleys for me. I can't do it myself since I dont have the tools. Hey Shark_g, do you know who might be able to install them for me? Also, did you have to replace both belts (A/C and Crank) when you installed them? Thanks again.

Accessory Belt w/ Crank only: Gates K060895
w/ Crank & Alternator Pulley: Gates K060900
w/over-drive Alt. pulley: Gates K060882
AC Belt: K040345

Yes you have to replace the AC belt.

Thanks for the info BigKID, I bought the pulley set that comes with the little alt. pulley so correct me if I'm wrong: I need the Gates K060882 and the AC Belt: K040345. Shark_g, I think I'll send your friend a mail see if we can arrange something.

Ding, Ding, Ding... We have a winner!
BTW.. you cant install it without and impact but it just takes patients. I did mine without one. Although an impact really makes it easy. Other than that the only other tool you need is a pully puller, which you should be able to rent from you local autoparts store.
