Yes def have some oiling issues, get them fixed. However once it is fixed you can shift it all day at about 6400.. But as said it is only 370 cubes not 6.2L and also the shift point should ultimately be based on where the cam makes the best power at.

At normal operating temps I get 15-20 psi at idle
But after logging some data trying to dial in my VE and creating some heat I had 5-10 psi at idle

What was the goal or what were you trying to accomplish with those cams specs?

I bought the truck set up this way.
PO I believe wanted to keep power down low.

My goal for right now is to get everything straightened out and tuned right.
For the future I am undecided on my goals.
Like everyone else I want gobs of tired shredding torque.
I have a company truck so I only use this one to pick up my daughter or drive to town to eat.
100 miles per week on this truck would be a stretch - some weeks it never leaves the garage.
Also I only tow in the summertime and only about 20 miles to get my boat to the lake.

I have been considering other cam options but I am learning to tune this one before I step up to something healthier.
I have been looking at the 228R and other options. Not in a hurry there....

Better check out the oiling issue before anything. I wouldn't even be firing it up with oil press issues.
