So the plan is to turbo the 5.3
Thought I'd come on here and ask you guys with experience on parts selection before i buy anything

transmission:
...going to swap in an FLT built 80e with something like a 2800 stall
segment swap
trucool cooler

for the engine stuff:
arp studs
ls9 gaskets
ls7 lifters
ls2 chain
tsp 7.4 pushrods
tsp .600 springs
isky triple 12 cam
stock oil pump?

turbo:
s475 87mm turbine 1.10 housing
kb racing pipes

what am i missing? what about fuel pump and all that stuff? thanks for the input

you need to go into the forced induction and read read read. 2 fuel pumps are what most people run. 1 to run the truck out of boost, other kicks on at X amount of boost. you need injectors for sure...stock will puke that motor. a dead on tune is key in that setup living. youll need driveshaft work more than likely also transmission mount work an so on through out the build. look at what others have done and go from there

yea, I was thinking maybe dual 255's from what I've read on here. Any idea where I get stuff like that from? and for the injectors I was thinking 60lb would be plenty enough for me, just don't know which brand or where to get them from. Ideas?

that kit is all I would need? can I leave the rest of the fuel system stock like fuel lines and such? thanks for the link
