Default Removing TORQUE managment ?

After experiencing the lame take offs with my truck and coming to this site, I am now wondering how to remove the torque managment. The HPP3 programmer I bought seems ok for now, but it does nothing to help me lay rubber at will. I know the truck has the power to do so. It's not like I just want to roast my tires all the time but it is still fun once and a while. Does anyone here use the tow haul mode for take offs? This seems like a low buck stall converter. I know it is not the same but it seems to have an effect.
My truck is an 02,5.3l,standard cab Z71 with 3.73 limited slip gears.

Damn, if I keep this up they're gonna have to put me on the payroll. But Here goes... Throw your hpp3 on ebay and buy a Predator. You won't believe the difference, it'll drive like a totally different truck.

JWRENCH - How many more tenths did you pick up with the Predator compared to the Hypertech?

I have and LOVE the predator. My 03 NOW drives like its supposed to, thanks to the predator.

Hard powerful launches off the line and at ANY point when driving are now possible thanks to the Predator's TM deletion.

I would expect the Predator to drop AT LEAST .2-.5 tenths of a second off the quarter.

.2-.5?????
then it's no better than the hypetech, the hypertech gave me a 1/2 second without the deletion of TQ. I need a real computer programmer to get a hold of mine.
Is there anyone in or around the Memphis area that knows what they are doing with LS1 edit?

My hommie ran a 16.7 stock and 15.6 with hypertech...

Ill bet the predator is faster than that too...

I still haven't made it to the dang track yet.
I was gonna go last wednesday and it came a hurricane over here. And ofcourse they're calling for rain Friday too.

I can feel a BIG difference over hpp3 though so I know it's makin' a lot more power, not to mention much better shifts.

I was saying that the Predator could be an improvement of .2-.5 BETTER than the HPPIII.

TM definitely can effect launches, especially when they are hard.

After getting the Predator my truck launches hard, chrips the rear end, all with a quick stab at the gas, maybe 1/4-1/3 throttle input.
