Default removing oil pan

Can the oil pan be removed with the engine in the truck, and if so what is the best way? (short of using a lift)

Remove the crossmember and if I remember right, loosen the steering as well, this will allow you to remove the oil pan, it's only held on my two bolts. it's very easy, just take your time.

good luck,

allen

look up unit repair for your year & motor, then go to engine section. This is a good site for info+ service bulletins.
