Default 05' times???

What do you guys think a 05' chevy silverado 2wd RCSB with 400 miles would do on the 1/4 mile?

G80 with 323 gears.
why would a truck come with those kind of gears??

the E-fans are standard, not sure why you listed them. the crappy 3.23 gear is because some dumbass dealer decided the base gear was good enough. gm for 05' made alot of changes for fuel milage and discontinued the 3.42 gear for 2wd's making the 3.23 standard and 3.73 optional. they also changed the 4x4's from 3.73 as the base gear to 3.42's with 4.10's optional. that's a very good truck to start with other than the gear. i'd guess you'll be crossing the traps at around 15.5-15.7@87mph. tire spin with that gear shouldn't be a problem at all.

yeah, he might get'r down to around 15.4 with some miles on it. either a gear change or torque converter change would likely get him into the 14's though. a cold air intake, exhaust, programming, and converter would likely net him around a 14.7@91 or so.

i ran a 05 single cab tonight. he was bone stock and he ran a 15.48 at 93.30 mph. of course, i busted off a 14.77. not that it's fast or anything. this was with good air and the track was hit or miss. i would spin some and then hook at other times. so no telling what he did. his mph looks high to me but i am not an expert.

yea, looking at his 60 ft he must have spun bad. 2.62 and he covered the 1/8 in 10.31 @ 75.58 mph. by that i would say he was coming back on me pretty hard.

i'm not sure. he wasn't too talkative. i went up to him to shoot the breeze and see if he wanted to line up and i got that "what the **** are you doing talking to me" feeling. basically he wasn't too cordial imo.
