removing bolts

Default removing bolts

i was reading gm highperfomance and they did a cat back install on a 9# formula, and to remove the runsted bolts they used a propane torch to heat them, anyone else do this

I used abunch of PB blaster and just went to town...a few busted knuckles later, they were off...

heat works great. either propane or a Mapp gas torch will to the trick, just be careful around stuff that can't take heat (brake lines, fuel lines)

Be sure to coat the stud with a good quality anti sieze for the next time you have to pull them...
