right side seems to be more badass, and also more expensive... They both look good, and i like the drawing it up in paint idea

not wanting to threadjack but you guys seem to know a shitton about exaust. I have a dual in single out flowmaster, I have 2 2.5's in and a 3' out, the muffler shop used a 2.5
" turn down and just welded it in the 3" outlet...is this hurting me? haveing 2 2.5's in and 1 2.5 out?

With a turn down a 2.5" won't be much restriction coming out but I would have liked to have seen a 3" pipe be used if it was crush bend and not mandrel bend tubing.

Ok, looks like I have changed my mind again!

Option 4!

Redo Y-pipe with 3" dual cutous with a true 3" y-pipe from Magnaflow, keep my 3" in/duel 2.5" out FlowMaster 40, and have dual turnouts before tire.

I am thinking option 4 right now, because it will be the cheapest! Well besides not doing any thing at all.

how long is the casing on that flowmaster muffler? it might be tough to get the tips to turn out fast enough... With my pacesetter y-pipe it was a squeeze to get my 14in casing magnaflow to turn out before the rears...

I am also thinking of getting a new muffler soon, Magnaflows do sound like crap with no cats. I am thinking Spintech but i really dont need all that good of flow... I have almost zero backpressure now..

What are u really after here? Do u just want something different? The best flow or the cheapest? Or both?

I like simple. Other than simplicity of #1, to me, #3 looks that way. Less $, less fab, less weight. Vers. #2 & #4 are similiar, and only vary w/ X vs Y configuration. If running before the axle( b4 tire), side exit - 2 pipes looks better. After the tire, either looks good.

No matter what u do, exhaust is subjective; both in sound quality & aesthetics. Long as u like it, that's what matters. I've seen all these styles look sweet. Again, sound varies by setup. I do not like drone.

I think #2 or #4, but lean more toward #4 for simplicity.

You said it for me! I want a different look, cut outs, better flowing y-pipe, less drone, but like the way it sounds as it is now! I know it will sound a little different because of a better flowing 'Y' and just a little more pipe after the muffler, but i don't think it will be that much if any. Oh ya, and cheep!

i have the option 2 but without the dual mufflers!!! mine dual all the way back to the muffler which is between the cab and bed when you look down between em. Im running the magnaflow with the built-in X pipe its a 14" case and sounds great!!!!!!
