Recommended Torque Converter Stall
I have a 93 K1500 4x4. It has a rebuilt 355 TBI Vortec motor with around 300 HP. 4L60E Tranny with 3.73 Gears.
I use this truck for Mud Racing (much like drag racing) and only run in in 4 Low.
What kind of Torque Converter Stall would you guys recommend? Turning 35 inch tires.

well, something like a 3000 stall would get you out there quick but i dont' know if you start on dirt then hit the mud or what. I would be afraid that a 3000 stall would be a little loose for racing in the mud.

You guys haven't witnessed the mud races have you? This is some wicked ****! WHere are you from Dean, not around Monroe, LA by any chance is it? I have a cousin that races over there, or has buddys that race.
I would stick with something light ... maybe a 2800-3000. You've got to keep in mind that running steep gears, guessing 4.56's at least, and in low range for the T-case, that the converter looses a lot of effect. I would stick with something like a converter around 3000.
