Recommend Me a Oil Pump L92
#1
I need some help from the brain trust. I am about to drop a cam in my 6.2 L92. With almost 100K, I thought it might be a good idea to swap the timing chain and oil pump. What does everybody recommend for a oil pump? Should I just go back with a L92? Or is there a better LS style pump?
If it matters, I will be deleting the VVT (no AFM or DOD). Also I will replace the o-ring.
Thanks in advance!

That L76 bastard is known to take a **** though. The plunger in the pressure relief gets jammed up and you lose oil pressure when RPMs come down lol. Not sure if the factory just didn't do a good job deburring the plunger bore or what...

There are 2 reasons
1. it still will bypass or bleed off oil pressure from 55 to 60 psi which isnt always good
2. it can cause othe oiling issues as the oil shoots out of the side of the bypass. GM has a tsb out about it where they update it with a splash shield/collar.
