Default Read the fine print!!!!!!

This relates specifically to a vendor (Tyburne) of this site, but applies to all vendors I suppose.

They advertise a special that is over tonight. The special is buy an exhaust (has to be cats and everything), headers, etc.. and get $200 off and free shipping.

After just purchasing a new truck and debating when to upgrade the exhaust, I thought, well heck yeah, I'd like to save $200 and have a new B&B ehaust with the dynatech headers, complete with y pipe and new cats.

Here is where you must read the fine print-free shipping only applies to items purchased at the regular price, not the special that ends tonight. So now with shipping (because of the "special price" you really don't end up saving $200 after all), in fact you're going to be darn close with the shipping of the dynatechs as the regular price. So why make it sound better?

I guess it's a tried and true marketing scheme by those in the biz, but it kinda feels like bait and switch to me. I then just went with the B&B exhaust.
Kinda, sorta, well-stupid!

Isnt shipping like $90 though? That means you save $110. Correct?

I believe they quoted me that when I called a whille ago on them.

I agree, read carefully.
But it does say right on the thread in regular sized print "offers can not be combined"
If it sounds too good to be true...

Seems like it was $80-$90 shipping on the B&B (I'll pick those up though) but the gal tells me it was quite a bit more for the dynatechs?

As far as combined offers-It is somewhat confusing, but combining the cat back and the headers was part of the stipulation to get the $200 off.

Seems like you need a decoder ring for some of these offers?????
