depends on if the 6.0 is the half ton 2wd model or not. if they are both 1/2 ton 2wd's, the 6.0 will beat it. there is currently the 6.0 half ton in the ss, but the new texas 2wd version should be able to take a 5.3 pretty easily.

 

that new lq9 in the rwd version they are mentioning over in another thread will give a single cab 5.3 a run for its money, stock to stock, i'd think anyways.
what are some good or the best 1/4 times, a stock rc is running. anyone know?

yes, hardtop did beat my truck, but my truck weighs about 700-800 lbs more than his stripper.

well i know this and this still aggravates me very badly. my friend has an 02 EC 2wd with a 5.3 completly stock and he beat me by atleast 2 tenths at the track every time we raced and i have a 4x4 but its a reg cab and i have almost a grand invested in performance parts. he ran a best et of 15.71 and my slow tail came up at 15.93 best, he has been at the track more times and i was a virgin but still i got em off the line and on a majority of the 60 foots.
