What kind of gas are we talking about here Richard? It's either 91 or I go and spend $5/gallon for 100 octane. Do you mix octanes?
Also, is you fuel system stock? It's been awhile since I went down there so I don't remember everything your truck has.

I use 105 VPMotorsport at the track for 150+ HP and on the street 91 pump is more than sufficient for 100-120 HP. I am on a still stock fuel pump and injector but do play with pressure quite a bit.

I have yet to plot timing versus HP but I wil as soon as i make up my mind if i want to tow with the truck and race the Nova with the turbo 5.3 ot just drop the turbo 5.3L in the truck and the old 391 carbed beast in the Nova. Decisions....

100 and 110 is the same price at the 76 station I get it at...$5/gallon...I don't live in Texas remember? I'm paying $2.25/gallon for 87 octane right now

We used a timing tuner recently on an 02 Z06 with a 150 wet shot. It works great and really is a nice item. It is a little pricely, but does as advertised.

Yes, 2 degrees for every 50HP especially if you have an aftermarket tune.
