BTW, that was not a shamless plug. More like a warning, I would not want to see the new guy needing a motor in a few months.

I'm not sure why people continue to debate blower vs. turbo. Turbo is the dominate power adder hands down.

Just outta curiosity how much did it cost ya to your door after my 6L I will probably start looking into FI and I like that kit.

Um...dude, he's a Director here.....he's probably got the knowledge, AND.....He's right!, with all other things being equal a turbo will out-power ANY OTHER forced induction setup there is....but there are trade-offs to get that kind of power (higher-stall converters, massive tuning or aftermarket engine controllers, forged everything motors, higher intake temps, etc...)

There are easier ways to make big power....but to make REALLY BIG power you need a turbo. Why do you think parish8 is running one....it certainly isn't because it's cheap and easy !!....and, have you EVER seen a modern diesel with anything but a turbo on it ???

wonder how much boost this blower motor is making

probably around 50lbs or so

and the only reason they use a Roots-blower is due to class restrictions...........
