Well can I hold the title for the most non-catastrophic engine failure? I sucked up water and it crushed the wrist pin gap on the piston so it wouldn't rock freely anymore and made horrible noises when idling. Motor looked 100% other than that.

I lost a thrust bearing...A FREAKING THRUST BEARING! WHo loses a thrust bearing on a automatic? I'll tell you, someone who had a poor machine shop!
