Indeed you do.

My Radix is maxed out with the 402 it only makes about 7lbs of boost.
But who wants a handicap to future upgrades?

im going to stop by the shop later today and see whats going on. Seriously i expect my truck to be done with within 2 weeks. I would be disappointed if it werent dont next week, but apartly whom ever shipped the valve covers takes over 1 week, yes 1 week, to ship them. Probably went via china first. When you coming up to visit your buddies?

Well, why not have the best of both worlds? If the Radix won't flow enough for a big cube 408, then why not feed it with a STS. Both??? I really want to try this if some one would like to donate a Magnacharger (even an old side mount) to me . Push 7 lbs from the STS to the Radix, then it makes another 6 lbs and whalla, you have 13 lbs of almost instant boost and tons of tire smoking fun!! What do ya think?

A few years back there was an issue of Sport Compact Car with an MR2 shootout. They had an older Toyota MR2 that was twin charged like that.

Needless to say, they mentioned that that thing would smoke the tires with no problem. It was so light, and so powerful. It had the best of both worlds, off-idle power from the supercharger, and the turbo high-end. But it was tuned to the edge and not reliable IIRC.

So could it be done? Sure could.

i don't see any reason the radix couldn't feed a mild 408. i'd make sure the 408 had around 10:1 compression though. at 10:1 or so 7-8psi would feel awsome and still be tunable on pump gas.

The Radix isn't a real compressor is sort of a hybrid Twin Screw/Fan. If it has to move are already under pressure its going to take a bunch more HP to turn it and its going to make GOBS of HEAT.

Somewhere around 650 Flywheel HP is the limit on the Radix from my experience. It will make loads of TQ from idle to redline.

At 7-9 lbs of Boost the Radix I think is faster than a turbo. But your all done at that point unless you spray it.
