Default Radix and N20

Guys,
Toying with the idea. Small 50-75 shot more for cooling effect rather than real power adder. Especially in the summer.

Thinking dry kit only. Front of the MAF. NOS 5177 kit. Do not want to introduce fuel into the SC for fear of fuel puddling and backfire.

Anybody with real world experience? Will I run out of fueling? Will the ECM manage it? What would the WOT trigger be since I'm throttle by wire? Don't see many if any doing it so there must be major issues?

TIA for any input.

Thumbs up

Should be a couple weeks.Going to up grade to 60lb. injectors since im very close to maxing out the 43lb. and retune.Starting out with 50 shot dry tapped into brass egr plug on blower by throttle body.Kinda hiding my system made a bracket and mounted micro switch at the gas pedal. Also using a msd rpm window switch on at 2500 off at 5800.
Fuel system should still have enough pump for a 50-75 shot but i would put a fuel pressure gauge to monitor fuel psi drop.I have a return fuel system with new oem pump, inline 255 walbro, and kb voltage boost a pump on the inline.Dont recomend just putting kit on with out some kind of custom tune for fuel,timing,a/f and so on to be on the safe side.
Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the input. Gave me some good ideas on window switch and concern about running out of fuel. Sounds like your setup is primarily an all out race truck or at least on the gas all the time at WOT. I'm working on my daily driver and don't want to have to swap out tunes when I run the N20. Think I have 2 options. 1> Small dry shot before the MAF and hopefully the PCM can manage. Definately done on the dyno. 2> Small to larger shot post MAF (intake tube) with dual tuning. Spoke with L-Eater at track this weekend and he gave me an interesting idea. When certian sensors fail the PCM resorts to default tables. The IAT sensor defaults to a limp timing table. Idea being, arm your N20, this also disables the IAT sensor,. The PCM maps the limp mode table tuned for N20. Now problem is finding a limp mode fuel table and how to get it active with the N20 arm switch.
