dont forget a built tranny not long after you do the radix

 

I assume you already have a good cat back exhaust so I'll say maybe a good offset duration high lift camshaft is in order. Other than that just buy everything in Parish8's signature.

 

lol sounds like a plan, but parish how do you like the yank 3000 tq? Would you recommend it? Also I have heard good things about asm headers and thorley, but will probably get the thorley because of the lower price tag, you had any expierence with the thorley or heard much about them? With all this done and put on I would be wanting to look at low 12's is that possible? Thanks

 

i ran a 12.77 with an non intercooled whipple(good gas at 8psi) and no nitrous. probably would run the same with the radix or better but not have to run good gas since it is intercooled. this is with a 6.0 in there also.

 

oh yea, the yank3000 is awsume, best bang for the buck besides nitrous in my oponion, can't really coment on a 2800 or a 3200, can't really say if higher or lower would help. the 3000 is real easy to drive, after a day or so you won't even know it is there(till you floor it)

You had better plan on a 4L80E conversion,an Eaton posi and 4.10s for the taller 1st and 2nd gear ratios.With a pulley change the Radix is good for about 500rwhp and if you spray a 100shot on top of that you'll trash the 4L60E the first time you hammer it.

 

i have to agree with parish. i just had a TC installed over hte weekend. Holy ****, it pins me pack in the seat at 1/2 throttle. i finally got my low end torque back. i had really shitty 60' times. i am yet to g-tech my new mod. without the yank 3000 i was getting about 2.7 sec. i am sure i am arounf 2.2 or 2.3 now with the yank. i haven't hammered it yet. i am easily roasting the tires at 1/2 throttle. i have eaton in a box waiting to be installed. i will have to try a few 4wd launches in the mean time to see my new 60'. i highly recommend this mod. fun to drive.
