DrX, glad to see u got urself running well. Have u dyno'd? What #'s are u pulling now? I'm running reliably now and I definately feel more SOTP since I did my lasy Dyno in feb...but I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna show anything better than 350 or 360rwhp. R/

The guys at Mag told me that average "out of the box" RWHP on a 4wd 5.3 was 320-330. So you are above that. Haven't been on the dyno since I was just at the "out of the box" stage. Will be going back on after I finish up the new injectors.

The new Engine Masters Mag covers header mods (collector & tube extensions) and suggests major HP gains thru collector extensions (74hp I think with their app?). I'd like to hear from anyone whos looked into this or other exhaust work with a blown application. R/
Seems a little low to me with the headers. Did they lock the converter for the pulls to get that number? There are too many factors and conditions between different dynos. Its always best to get a baseline on the same dyno so you can measure your gain in relation to your base. I know a couple people running Radix/dynatechs with cats. One just had pluged cats he gutted them and says it feels like 75hp but he also has a cam and heads 5.3. The other has almost the same setup truck as me and seems to not be to far of from my numbers with his cats vs. no cats on mine with pacesetter LT. I think the headers come into play with more power on the top end with more boost and mods. I have seen people make good power with stock manifolds and cats with only a cat back,99mm tb and cam with the radix. So i think they might not give a stock truck as much as we would like but your numbers still seem a little low IMO.

Good luck with your truck and hope this helps you out a little.
