Default Radix & LT's: Looking for info

I installed a set of dynatech LT's at the same time as my Radix. Never resulted in any advantage despite several tuning sessions. I maxed out @ 340rwhp & 374 torq. I'll have to dig up the power curve, but it feels a little softer than I expected down low, and suspect that might be the LT's . The new Engine Masters Mag covers header mods (collector & tube extensions) and suggests major HP gains thru collector extensions (74hp I think with their app?). I'd like to hear from anyone whos looked into this or other exhaust work with a blown application. R/

That sounds low. After my Radix problem was rectified (loose manifold bolts), I was looking at 370 RWHP and 420 RWTQ on the stock exhaust manifolds with the canned Radix/Superchips tune. Your issue is a good reason to do one major mod at a time, so you know what effect each mod has. I hope you find the problem.

BLOWN364 would be a good guy to contact about this. I have LT's but have yet to optimize the tune for them.

Was recommended by Mag when I ordered, so assumed they knew the goods...unfortunately I'm now another mouse in the maze.

Does that mean u can't make 'em work either? Why wud a NA app, benefit more than an SC app? Does the SC need the backpressure, or do I need tuned pipes - ie collector extensions? R/

He's got a decent sized cam, smaller pulley, meth, and a custom tune. I wouldn't compare your truck to his. You have problems, but they are only of the 25-30 HP/TQ variety.

WEW! I got the custom tune too, but the Mag tune was already pretty aggressive in my opinion, and I stuck with it except for the humid mid summer. Then I go to a smaller pulley, and prob install a meth kit as well at some point.
