Alright, here's what I've got planned for the truck. Right now I'm running a 4.8L and planning to order the Radix for it down the road. Later when I get some cash, I plan on swapping in a 6.0L. Will I need to run higher than 87 octane on either one of these setups? I know it bumps up the compression ratio when you do a forced induction setup. I had a 2001 Bonneville SSEi and had no choice but to run 93 octane in it. The big reason I'm asking is because the truck will be my daily driver most of the time. And due to the way gas prices are, if I can get away with running 87 octane it'd be great. TIA.

after reading the instructions I got the impression that a min. 91 octane was recommended but I don't remember them saying you couldn't run 87 either.
blownchevy will know for sure. if gas prices are an issue, maybe N2O is a better option for ya, just run the good stuff when your running it hard.
