The GT7 is performing well in mine. Idles like stock or better. Pulls like a **** mid to top end. No dyno numbers but the first time down the track ran a 12.93. Only changes were 5.3 to 6.0 and the GT7 cam. Best time with the 5.3 had been a 13.41.

Nice combo. Good to know it was measured against a stock Radix tune. Just going from the stock Radix tune to a performance based tune for power would net somewhere close to 50hp by itself. The stock Radix tune is very "de-tuned".

At least with a 6.0L.

Thanks Ben! I beg to differ with you about the stock Radix calibration though, there is no where near 50 HP left on the table. I would say no more than 10-15 at the MOST.

you know, I was thinking about this thread today, about how popular the LPE GT2-3 cam has become, rightly so, as it does a very nice job in many different combinations. I wonder if this is a reflection of what most people REALLY want out of a cam vs. the typical I want lope or some lope, yada yada yada. With all the internet BS about how good this cam sounds and what not, maybe the real satisfaction comes from a "stock like" cam, that pulls the good numbers, has excellent daily driven street manners, etc etc.

I want more power & a little lope!! If I had to sacrifice one of them for the best application, of course it would be the lope.
