With all the internet BS about how good this cam sounds and what not, maybe the real satisfaction comes from a "stock like" cam, that pulls the good numbers, has excellent daily driven street manners, etc etc.
Beautifully stated Grippy! This cam really makes a well rounded setup for the FI trucks.

I'm not sure the 1.85 rockers are going to be kind to the valve springs with over .620"+ valve lift. You definitely will need to check to see if the valve springs can handle this much lift.

I love seeing these kinds of results!

Personally Im gonna stick with my oddball cam (226/.591/116) and do all the basic stuff to wring out all the power I can on 5psi before switching out cam but IF I do switch I might try this cam out. If my new converter doesnt stall as high as I would like it to then I'll defiantely be switching cams and I'll talk Rick into doing the GT/2 or something very similar lol.

This test should have been run on a stock 1983 dodge colt tune and denatured methanol in the tires. The left turn signal should have been on the whole time, too, to help balance out the obviously over-power right hand blinker fluid resevoir found on those hybrid eatons. So, in all these results are worthless for the common user!

Once again, top notch thread, Brian. I didn't want you to get all soft with all the praise in this thread so I added some of what you are more used to

The shape of the springs doesn't have anything to do with max lift values . Do you know the part number of the springs you are using?
