Default Racetronixs 255 and Hotwire Crap !

I have a 255 and Hotwire Kit installed on my truck... Before I installed this my truck made 48psi at idle... 02 Chevy 1500 with a Factory 5.3 NON Flex fuel .. I installed the pump and hotwire kit and didnt pick up much.. changed the regulator and checked the bucket 5 times .. I had a whipple with 10 wide open injectors.. so i blamed that.. called it done ..... NOW I have 60lb injectors I removed the line from the Reg and new tune.. Truck now makes 56psi at idle with little over half a tank of fuel... Top of first.. fuel pressure drops... it holds till top of 2nd then falls off HARD down to 20-25psi !! ... of course truck goes instant Lean .. WTF is the problem !!!!! I am Sick of this crap.. I checked the fuse and relay for the hotwire kit.. everything looks good... so before i refuse to take the blame for this Crap.. its NEVER done right since day one ..

When you say you removed the line from Reg, do you mean the vacuum line on the regulator?

If you pull off that vac line, the regulator can't adjust to idle vacuum or boost. Plug that bad boy back in and try it again.

You shouldn't be loosing pressure.

if your having fuel issues, you could have a restriction in your line, or not enough line to feed the motor

Did you reconnect the vacuum line to the regulator before you started down this path?
