Yeah, since you have a 4 link, why not narrow the rear end, get some axles made in 5 lug, and convert the rear to OBS drums and run 15s all day long? I dunno, just throwing ideas out there...

I am going to. I have a 9 inch being built right now, but i dont want to convert to 5 lug cause already have 3 sets of wheels for my truck so am having custom axles made with 6 lug and its getting tubbed also. But i want some wheels that will work now cause im going to try and take it to the track next weekend and i want to run the 29.5s and not the 28s

why dont you get a set of billet wheels like budnik, intro or billet specialties. They will make any backspacing you need.

i got one centerline wheel custom made, it was prety cheap, something like $140 i think. it is a 15x10 with a 5.5" bs. it isn't even close to fiting. i tried 1" of washers behind it so prety much a 4.5"bs and then did about an hour worth of grinding and it still didn't fit.

i would love it if someone found a way to get 15x10's on these trucks and not have them stick out a mile. 15" tires would kick ***, soo many options there.

I have 15x10 steel white spokes and they hang way out and look really crappy. I had to grind about an hour on the calipers to get them to fit. Aluminum wheels are generally thicker (smaller ID on the part that goes over the brakes) so I think it would be really hard to get them to fit over the stock brakes. The drum conversion sounds promising. I am going the opposite direction this season-gonna use a 16 inch wheel and the 28 inch Hoosiers.

I run 15x7 on the front and they just bolt on, 15x8 on the back. I ground the calipers on the back and relocated them by slotting the mounting holes on the calipers about .100", that dropped them down enough to clear but the clips were rubbing on the outside diameter of the rotors so I turned them down a little. Discount tire helped me figure out the back spacing, my slicks are even w/ the truck. 15x10 might stick out a little but I think drag lite will build custom wheels if you got the $.

Do you have any pics of this? When you say the fronts bolt on, do you mean just that? No grinding or anything?
