Default Quiks 3 " stainless exhaust

Just finished welding tonight, ready for final mounts. Full 3 inch 304 stainless mandrels, stainless V-bands, and MagnaFlow bullet mufflers. All tubing hand made, including x pipe from a box of mandrel bends.

I would like to do stainless but I change exhaust like underwear so..... Until I find a setup I am 100% happy with the sound, no stainless for me.

It looks good. Hows that Turbo SS doing?

Can you weld stainless with a mig with the proper wire and gas? I was told along time ago that you can weld stainless with a regular mig wire and gas mix, but the welds will not be stainless like the rest of the metal, is that true?

WOW, That looks great. What headers do you have? How does it sound?

BlackGMC,
Yes, with the proper wire and Tri-Mix gas you can mig SS. You can also weld SS tubing with mild steel wire but, it will rust. Most shops spray some kind of spray paint on the welds when they finish it to prevent rust.

Thank you sir!! I was thinking of getting some OBX headers and welding them instead of using the clamps.

Sorry for the off topic discussion.

BTW very nice work, the crossover looks awesome!!
