Mild steel wire will work but it's not the best idea. Stainless wire in a mig is just fine, but TIG is nicer.

Lots of questions here. The turbo SS moved to Mississippi, and is in need of a better tune. It will be in Texas shortly for some Dyno pulls. Quiks truck is running however also needs a better tune. Here is pics of the finished product and a video clip in our parking lot.

A little off topic but is that a custom drive shaft loop or where did you buy it.

I hope to see you and youre truck at MIR with the rest of us Md, Pa, and Va truckers on Oct 7th. Very nice exaust best Ive seen.

Look for the member Quik and go through his threads started. He's got an engine build thread going that's pretty good.

That's a sweet truck, and that was with the cut-outs closed right? If I remember correctly he's got duel cut-outs right aft of the headers? He might get pulled over being that loud but it might be worth it!

The cut outs got eliminated. There just wasn't enough room, and after looking threw those mufflers, I cant see them befitting either.
