Default Quickie question.

What exactly does ''ragged out'' mean. i know it means your truck runs like . but what is it exactly in the engine that makes it ''ragged out''

if you're getting knock maybe... that or the tranny is slipping/shifting like crap. maybe the engine doesn't idle right, and has no power.

No that means you floor it everywhere you go and that you have basically fried your rings and made your motor loose as hell. If you rag on your truck, it means you abuse the hell out of it. Beat the hell out of it. It probably runs like ****.

Like a hooker...Used, abused and usually hung out to dry.

Raggedy = POS, that's the only way I can explain it.

man i have 150k miles on my stock 5.3, the last 50k miles i have been a little rough on it..
it still runs really good, and i run it hard.
for instance... it stays at 6000rpms for some time... poor motor.

Stuff like that, and i tow with it.. so unless ur brother just didnt change the oil.. i doubt its ragged out.

my friends tell me i run my truck too hard....

But i could be wrong... who am i to talk about... my truck is sittin on a trailer waiting for the right Torque Converter....

I kindof race mine too
