for those of you 99-02 guys who removed the egr, what did you use to plug the hole on the intake?

freeze plug..... dont remember the size but im sure some will chime in..... works great.... doesnt leak at all.

Go to Auto-crap, or better yet, O'Reilly. They stock 'em (if you can find a knowledgeable associate to assist).

make sure you say rubber expansion plug and not freeze plug though. a feeze plug to them is a metal bowl type thing that you just stick somewhere

yep... I have the rubber plug too... it fits in well and doesnt leak at all...

I went to the dealer and bought the factory block off...it was like $12 (my price). I don't have the part number, but I just told the guy at the parts department what I needed and he pulled the pic up right on his computer and ordered it for me.

I installed the pacesetter lts and used the block off plate that goes on the headers did i miss something here? Does it need to be blocked off at the manifold too?

yeah, you have to block off the intake as well... then take off the other EGR junk... It cleans things up a lot...
