Default Quick exhaust hanger welding question

Just a quick question for you guys. I broke an exhaust hanger today and im gonna climb under there tonight to weld it back on. Do i need to worry about frying the computer or anything? Anything i need to do before I weld it back on?

Thanks

which hanger did you break? i cant think of how you would mess anything up by just welding it back together or welding a new one on. should be pretty easy

Awesome, thanks for the replies. Just wanted to make sure. The guy who had the truck before me put on a few new hangers when he re-ran the exhaust where the spare tire was. One of those in the back broke.

just make sure you clamp the ground to the exhaust pipe and not the frame rail or something random like that.

Just had to do the same thing last week...busted out the flap disc on the grinder and cleaned it up real good, then clamped the ground right on the exhaust by the hanger...threw down a couple quick beads..done..no comp. issues.
