quick engine/exhaust question

Default quick engine/exhaust question

i need to do some welding on the ORY-Pipe what should i do to weld? do i need to disconnect battery and what else if at all possible i would want to disconnect little as possible so i dont have to re-learn the tune. any comments?

maybe i wasnt very clear... Tell Me what i need to do in order to SAFELY weld on exhaust...

1. disconnect battery..
2. anything else??

please... this leak is embarrasing.... pfft-pfft-pfft-pfft!!!!!

My exhaust shop doesnt even disconnect the battery.

I fixed a problem on mine in shop class no problem, the MIG isn't gunna do anything to the truck, just get under there and weld it

I would unscrew your O2 sensors. I did cause I was welding pretty close to them and did not want to damage them.

it is only going to be a few spot welds to help the y-pipe from slipping off. i am having the worst issue with this .just a few tacks to hold it on for sure
