Default Questions on MAFS

If i have an aftermarket MAF like granatelli for say, If i got ported MAF ends is that going to help out any or are they already ported out???

Ive been told they will only help if your truck has been tuned for the ported MAF. Also I think the stock MAF will hold up to like 600hp

you better get a 408 instead of running the little 5.3 forged short block if you want that power, and then youneed to drive down here and take me for a ride.

lol it will be at 700 rwhp with no poblem in that 5.3 my setup is wicked but ssshhhhhhh!

I don't think a 408 is needed. A LOW compression 370ci will get the job done rather easily I think.

Stick with the stock MAF for now. A granatelli isn't going to help with forced induction and nothing can extend the MAF range in the computer for that much horsepower....YET

I think a properly setup 5.3L could do 700rwhp easily also.

hehehe spoken like a true champ if only you knew my setup oh and it does consist of the STS also but the internal engine parts are my winner oh and the dana 60 rear end
